How long does it take?
Most cleanups are done the same day or the next, depending on how deep the infection is and how the machine is running. Same-day is possible when scheduling and any needed parts allow. I will give you a realistic time frame once I have looked at it.
Will my files and data be safe?

No. Legitimate companies do not cold-call you about a virus on your computer. These callers want remote access or payment. Do not give them access or any card numbers. If you are worried something is wrong, I will look at the machine and tell you what is actually there.
